The venue, which was inaugurated in 1920, has preserved much of its original interior. Over the years, Palladium has primarily served as a cinema, but the hall has also been used for theater, revue, and music performances. Renowned artists such as Jussi Björling, Alice Babs, and Laurel and Hardy have performed here. In 1983, Carola won the Melodifestivalen on Palladium's stage with the unforgettable song "Främling". Since 2004, Palladium has been operated by Musik i Syd and Dansstationen. The venue features a specially designed stage that caters to the needs of both music and dance. It serves as a meeting place for the dance and music scene in southern Sweden and the Öresund region. Palladium Malmö hosts approximately 300 events each year, including concerts, dance performances, conferences, and corporate events. The venue's intimate and authentic atmosphere, along with its unique acoustics, is praised by both artists and visitors.
