Barbro's menu offers Asian cuisine with a Western touch. The kitchen is run by Andrew Jones and Tim Alton, who have worked as sous chefs at the Teppanyaki restaurant Yasuragi Hasseludden for the past 7 years. The menu includes dishes such as Yuzu ceviche with sea bass and scallops, seared tuna with sesame dressing and raw vegetable salad, foie gras with wonton and caramelized figs, lobster bisque with wonton dumplings and edamame beans, fried dumplings with chickpeas and butternut squash with a yuzu dipping sauce, beef sashimi with peanuts, coriander, and pickled shallots, seabass with roasted beets, bonito soy sauce, and shiso pesto, soy/sake-marinated duck breast with sambal butter, seared sirloin in a roasted chicken broth with udon noodles, pak choi, and mushrooms, Japanese lentil soup with truffle, served with quail eggs and bread, tempura-fried spicy tuna, and a selection of 6/9/11/15 pieces from the sushi bar. For dessert, options include chocolate fondant with sea buckthorn syrup, green apple sorbet with coconut soup and fresh herbs, crème brûlée, and Barbro's truffles. Barbro's menu combines Asian and Western influences and offers dishes in a slightly smaller format, perfect for sharing. The venue also includes a bistro, bar, and cinema, located just below Liljeholmsbron. In the basement of the restaurant, you will find Sweden's first cinema. They screen premiere films and host film clubs in collaboration with Bio Rio. Bistro Barbro is a fusion of Scandinavian and Japanese design and culinary culture.
